MyoGo Privacy Policy
Version: 1.5
Effective date: September 5, 2026
Last updated: September 22, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Adecastic LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company ("Adecastic," "we," "us," or "our"), handles information in connection with the MyoGo mobile application (the "App"), the website at www.myogo.app (the "Site"), and communications with us about MyoGo. Other Adecastic products have their own policies. "You" means the parent or legal guardian who manages the App.
The short version
MyoGo works without an account or an Adecastic server for child profiles or practice records. The App keeps those records on your device. You control whether to use optional camera or microphone feedback and whether to share a progress export.
- Live camera and microphone input is processed on your device. The App does not save photos, video, or audio recordings of that input or upload it.
- The App has no advertising, cross-service tracking, or third-party analytics SDKs. It keeps limited product-use counters locally, as explained below.
- Apple handles subscriptions. The App uses Apple's product and verified transaction information to display offers and determine access. Adecastic does not receive your payment-card details.
- The Site's hosting provider receives ordinary web requests. If you email us or choose to send us an export, we receive the information you send. These are separate from automatic App data collection.
- You can review and edit the child profile in the parent area. Erase All Data removes local App records. Deleting the App removes its child profile and practice records; copies you exported or shared remain outside the App. Neither action cancels an Apple subscription.
1. Where information goes
The App does not automatically send child profile details, reminder settings, practice history, game scores, camera input, microphone input, or local product-use counters to Adecastic. It does not have an Adecastic account, cloud-sync service, advertising identifier, location feature, or third-party advertising or analytics SDK.
The App communicates with Apple's App Store services for subscriptions. Opening a legal or support link uses the destination website or email service. A parent can deliberately share a progress export through other apps. Those activities are described in Sections 5, 6, 8, and 11; they are not covered by an assertion that no information can ever leave the device.
For MyoGo, we do not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use it for targeted advertising. We do not use camera, microphone, profile, or practice information to identify a person, build advertising profiles, or train an AI model.
2. Information stored locally
The following App information is stored on your device and is not automatically available to Adecastic:
- Child profile: an optional first name or nickname and an age from 4 through 14. You may leave the name blank or use initials. The age sets the starting game pace; it does not assess health or select an individualized treatment program. Every child follows the same balanced exercise progression. The parent area lets you edit the name and age.
- Setup and settings: the App temporarily saves incomplete setup so it can resume. Settings include a preferred reminder time, whether reminders and optional feedback are enabled, and ordinary App preferences. Setup does not request a date of birth, gender, symptoms, diagnoses, health goals, or professional-care status.
- Practice and play records: completed sessions and activities, routine progress, scores, game levels, streaks, rewards, stickers, and related settings. These describe App activity, not a clinical assessment.
- Parent gate: the App stores salted, work-factor-protected verifiers for a separate four-digit parent PIN and its recovery code, plus retry and temporary lockout state, in the device Keychain. It does not store the PIN or recovery code itself. The adult receives the recovery code to keep separately. Repeated incorrect attempts cause delays. A reset requires that code and, when available, an additional check using Apple's device-owner authentication. The App receives the result of that check, not Apple's biometric templates or the device passcode. Erase All Data removes the App's PIN record. A fresh install removes an orphaned PIN record that iOS may have retained after uninstalling. At your request, Copy Recovery Code puts the code on a device-only clipboard item that the App asks iOS to expire after about ten minutes; copies you save elsewhere remain under your control.
- Local product-use counters: allow-listed daily aggregate counts include onboarding progress, purchase-attempt outcomes, game starts and finishes, broad score/duration ranges, and calibration outcomes. They contain no child name or age, reminder text, device or advertising identifier, raw sensor reading, audio, face data, or precise event time. During active use, the App keeps the current day and the preceding 35 days of counters. Older counters are pruned when the App next records an event, so they can remain on an inactive installation until then. Erase All Data removes them. Local first-use flags may remain until erased.
- Legal acceptance: accepted Terms and Privacy Policy version numbers and the acceptance date are recorded locally. They are not sent to Adecastic.
Section 9 explains backups. The App does not offer Adecastic cloud recovery of child profiles or practice history.
3. Camera and facial-expression feedback
With a grown-up's permission on a compatible device, the App uses Apple's ARKit framework and the front camera for live practice and game feedback. It processes facial-expression values, such as jaw opening, cheek puffing, and tongue movement, together with face tracking and on-screen position needed to place effects on the live camera view.
Live camera frames and expression/position values are processed in memory on your device while the camera activity runs. The App does not save those frames or raw face values to its practice history, create a persistent identity template, or send them to Adecastic. It does not compare faces to identify a person. Temporary tracking values are replaced or cleared as the activity proceeds or stops. Completion records and scores can be saved without the underlying camera input.
Camera permission is optional. A parent can turn camera feedback off in the App or revoke camera access in iOS Settings. Guided follow-along practice remains available; camera-dependent games require the necessary hardware and permission. The App's camera feedback is separate from Apple's Face ID authentication used for parent-PIN recovery.
4. Microphone and device-motion feedback
With a grown-up's permission, the App processes live microphone samples on your device to calculate sound levels, ambient calibration, and changes in sound over time, such as the rise and decay of a tongue click or the level of a breath. It temporarily keeps the measurements and timing needed for that feedback in memory. It does not transcribe speech, recognize a speaker, create a voiceprint, save an audio recording, or upload microphone input. Practice records and game scores do not include the underlying audio samples or sound-level history.
Microphone permission is optional. A parent can turn microphone feedback off in the App or revoke access in iOS Settings. Microphone-dependent activities will then be unavailable; guided practice remains available.
Some games also use the device's motion sensors to translate gentle tilt into steering. The App processes those readings locally while the game runs, resets steering when it stops, and does not save or transmit a motion history.
5. Apple subscriptions and system diagnostics
Apple offers and processes subscriptions through the App Store using your Apple Account. The App receives product information such as localized prices, billing periods, and introductory offers, and checks introductory-offer eligibility. It processes Apple's verified transaction information, including the purchased product, subscription type/status, applicable offer, expiration, upgrade, and revocation information, to provide access, restore purchases, and offer an optional local trial-ending reminder.
These checks do not give Adecastic your payment-card number, billing address, or Apple Account password. We do not operate a separate receipt, payment, or subscription-account backend. Apple may provide sales, financial, and aggregated App statistics through its developer services. Apple's handling of Apple Account, purchase, and device information is covered by Apple's privacy policy.
The App writes limited technical status and error messages to Apple's system logging facilities. iOS may also create diagnostic or crash information. Depending on your device's analytics-sharing settings, Apple may collect diagnostics and make relevant information available to app developers. This is separate from the App's local product-use counters; MyoGo does not include an independent telemetry or crash-reporting SDK. See Apple's analytics-sharing controls. Erase All Data does not control records held by Apple or the operating system.
Deleting App records or uninstalling MyoGo does not delete Apple's purchase records or cancel a subscription. Use Apple's subscription controls to cancel, as explained in the Terms of Use.
6. Progress exports and sharing you choose
A parent can create a practice-progress summary on the device and share it through the iOS share sheet using the destination the parent selects. An export may include the child's name or nickname and practice information. Review it before sharing, and send it only to people you choose. Adecastic does not automatically receive a copy, but we will receive it if you choose us as the recipient.
The destination app, service, or recipient controls the copy you share under its own practices. Erase All Data or deleting MyoGo cannot recall previously shared copies. The App cannot control a screenshot, screen recording, or other copy that you or another device user creates with separate device tools.
7. Local notifications
If you allow reminders, iOS schedules and delivers them locally. Practice reminders may include the optional name or nickname; trial reminders use subscription timing. Reminder content may be visible on the Lock Screen or in Notification Center depending on your device's notification settings. The App does not use a remote-push provider or send reminder content to an Adecastic server.
A parent can change reminder settings in the App or turn notifications off in iOS Settings. Device settings, timing changes, and system behavior can affect delivery. A reminder is optional and does not cancel or change a subscription.
8. Website delivery
The Site is informational. It has no user account, submission form, advertising, or analytics tags. It does not automatically receive information stored by the App.
- Hosting: Vercel hosts the Site. Requests for a page or asset can include IP address, request time, browser/device information, requested URL, referring page, and response/error information. Vercel processes that information to deliver, secure, and troubleshoot the Site, and Adecastic may access operational logs for those purposes. We do not use those logs for child profiles, targeted advertising, or cross-service tracking. Provider log retention depends on the hosting configuration and operational/security needs; we do not promise a fixed duration that we cannot control.
- Fonts: the Site serves font files from its own website assets through its hosting provider. Viewing the Site does not require a separate request to Google Fonts. The App also bundles its fonts locally.
- Email links: selecting Contact or requesting launch updates opens your email service. Sending an email discloses the contents and email metadata to us and the providers that deliver it, as explained in Section 11.
9. Backups and deletion
The App marks its child profile, incomplete setup, routine progress, game scores/levels, and practice database as excluded from iCloud and computer device backups. Ordinary preferences, local legal-acceptance records, and coarse product-use counters may still be included by iOS. Adecastic cannot access your device backups. The parent-PIN verifiers use this-device-only Keychain protection.
Use Erase All Data in the parent area to remove local App records, including the PIN verifiers and local counters. Uninstalling the App removes its child profile and practice records. iOS may retain an orphaned Keychain record until a fresh install clears it. Exports, messages, screenshots, and copies stored in other apps are separate and must be managed where you saved or shared them. The App cannot remotely delete records on another device, recall a shared export, or remove Apple purchase records.
10. Children's privacy and parent control
MyoGo is designed for children ages 4–14 to use with a parent or legal guardian. Setup, purchases, external links, exports, and settings are for the adult. The parent gate restricts those actions but does not replace adult supervision or constitute legal verification of a person's age or parental status.
The App's child profile, practice records, and live sensor feedback are designed to remain on the device. We do not invite children to send us personal information, contact us for marketing, or post content. Support and launch-update requests are for adults. Do not send a child's photo, recording, diagnosis, or other sensitive details unless necessary to resolve the particular request.
If you believe a child has sent us personal information without appropriate parental involvement, contact support@adecastic.com. We will review the circumstances and remove information that should not be retained, subject to applicable legal obligations. Any future feature involving off-device collection of children's personal information will require a separate assessment, appropriate notices, and any legally required parental consent before it is enabled. This policy does not treat a parent PIN, an iOS permission prompt, or acceptance of Terms as a substitute for consent required by privacy law.
11. Email and other information you deliberately send
When you contact support@adecastic.com, we receive your email address, message, attachments, and ordinary correspondence metadata. A message may contain child or health information if you choose to include it. We use correspondence to respond, provide the support or updates you request, investigate problems, protect legal rights, meet legal obligations, and keep necessary business records. We use service providers to deliver, store, and secure correspondence. We do not sell it or use it for targeted advertising, and a support request does not subscribe you to marketing.
If you request launch updates, we use your address for those requested updates. You can withdraw that request by emailing us. We do not require sensitive child information for an update request.
Retention: we delete routine support and inquiry correspondence after the matter closes, unless retention of particular records is required by applicable law. We keep an active launch-update request only while providing the requested updates; withdrawal or completion closes the matter. Records that must be retained by law are deleted when the applicable retention obligation ends. We keep only the minimal record needed to honor a valid arbitration opt-out for as long as that continuing obligation applies. This does not authorize general retention of closed support correspondence. You can request earlier deletion; we will explain any applicable legal limitation.
Email and Site services may process information in the United States or other countries where their providers operate. Please avoid sending sensitive child information unless it is necessary for the request, and never email payment-card details, passwords, or the parent recovery code.
12. Your choices and rights
You can review and edit the child profile, change settings, export progress, and erase local App records in the parent area. These controls operate on your device; Adecastic cannot access or change those records remotely. Contact us if an accessibility barrier prevents you from using a control or reading this policy.
Depending on applicable law and your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, obtain a portable copy of, restrict, or object to processing of personal information that we hold; withdraw consent for processing based on consent; appeal a request decision where provided by law; or complain to the relevant privacy regulator. We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising.
To make a request, email support@adecastic.com. We may need proportionate information to verify the request and your authority before disclosing another person's information. We will respond within the time required by applicable law and explain any exception or limitation. We do not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. A request to us can address correspondence and Site information we control; it does not give us access to records held only on your device or by Apple.
Where data-protection laws require a lawful basis, we use information as necessary to respond to a request or provide agreed support, for legitimate interests in secure website delivery and resolving inquiries, to meet legal obligations, or with consent for updates you request. These bases do not override protections that apply to children's or sensitive information. Contact us about the applicable basis, providers, or safeguards for a particular request.
13. Security
We use the App's local architecture, iOS sandboxing, device protection, and this-device-only Keychain storage to limit access to App information. Hosting and email providers supply their own delivery and security controls. No system is completely secure, and device access, exports, and correspondence can expose information outside the App's controls.
Use a device passcode, keep iOS current, choose a parent PIN the child does not know, and store the recovery code somewhere the child cannot access. If you suspect a privacy or security problem, contact support@adecastic.com without including credentials or unnecessary child information.
14. Policy changes
We will update this policy when our practices change. The date and version above identify this text. Material App changes will be highlighted in the App. Before enabling a new off-device personal-data feature, we will describe its data use and obtain any consent required by law. A revised policy does not authorize new uses that require separate consent merely because you continue using the App.
